Aam Ka Achar

Your chosen raw food product I would like to choose aam ka achar because it is one of the most common pickle consumed in India.  Your chosen pickling, preserving or fermentation method Aamka achar is basically a Indian style mango pickle. Aam ka achar is very hot and spicy in taste since red chili powder is one of main component in it. It is eaten in every part of India. There are many types of aam ka achar like Punjabi aam ka achar, Maharashtrian aam ka achar, Kerala manga achar etc. Punjabi aam ka achar is one of the most common pickle in India. Salt and mustard oil are used as preservatives. I will be making Basic Aam ka achar. Recipe   Ingredients : Raw Mangoes 500 grams Mustard Oil filtered 1 cup Fennel seeds (saunf) 2 1/2 tablespoons Fenugreek seeds (methi dana) 1 tablespoon Clove 1 seed Cinnamon stick 2 gm Black pepper 2 seeds Salt 3 1/2 teaspoons Turmeric powder 2 1/2 teaspoons Split mustard seeds (rai ki dal) 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
